I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Northwestern University.

I work primarily on the philosophy of human rights, democratic theory, and global governance. I am currently writing a dissertation on the role of human rights and democracy in domestic and international climate politics. I have also written on the extraterritorial obligations of states in the context of climate change, and, for the public, on the UN climate summits.

I also work on Kant’s practical philosophy and ancient philosophy. I am especially interested in the role of these historical figures in developing cosmopolitan and anti-cosmopolitan traditions.
